It doesn’t always have to be vertical…
On this project we have installed the rarely used recessed flatlock system.
It lends itself well to areas that have very few window and door openings as the setout is very dependent on such points.
This cladding system is somewhat in between the traditional Flatlock and the Interlocking system. Not truly a cassette style panel but also not one that sits flat against the sub-construction.
It is essential to work out the joint locations in order to ensure a watertight cladding installation.
